Where I grew up –  My family moved to Whittier, CA when I was 1 year old, lived there 32 years

My family -  My dad was born in Sicily in 1898, one of 12 children. . Mom was born in Michigan in 1916, the last of 22 children.  I have two older sisters, they both live in California with their families. I have been happily married to Ted for 22 years. We have 3 cats and a dog they are our kids!

My education –  I went to a Lutheran school in Whittier, CA for 8 years (1st -8th grade),  I became  interested in music when the school started up a band class for the first time.  Attended La Serna High School in Whittier, was very involved in the band and honor society.  Was band secretary 3 years 

My occupation/employment - Have worked in Accounting or related service departments most of my career. Currently work for Fisher Farms Nursery in Gaston, OR. We are a wholesale plant nursery and I am in the main office of 120 acres of God's beautiful plants!

How I spend my days off - Ted and I are praying and working on getting a little patch of property in Ocean Park, WA set up for a teensy beachhouse getaway! 

What interests me - Serving Him by serving others, reading, computers and everything related! - especially graphics printing, cooking, watching movies, naps (when I can!)

How I became a Christian -  I have always known God in my mind, but it was not some personal crisis hit me that I finally learned to know and really love God with my whole heart. He healed me, He healed us, He wrung out the bad and washed in the new - washed in His blood and cleansed in His forgiveness, we finally got on the right course. It was only when we surrendered and submitted our lived to Him that we understood the only way is His way!

What I love most about God -  His forgiveness, His unconditional love, His gift of this beautiful world we live in, His promise that we will someday be with Him.

My favorite scripture -  Philippians 4:13   I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

My vision for Gales Creek Church -  That we continue to expand and heal the hearts of those who come to us through God's love.  Then, those who have been healed can continue to grow His kingdom in Gales Creek and beyond!  Pay it forward, that what God did for us!
